A: NEO serves approximately 34,000 homes and businesses in 26 counties in north, central and eastern Ohio.

Q: Who approves the rates Northeast Ohio Natural Gas is permitted to charge?

Q: Why did Northeast Ohio Natural Gas Corp. ask for an increase in rates?
A: This is our first-rate increase request since 2019 and it is needed to continue to provide safe and reliable service to our customers in Ohio. NEO will continue to invest in improved infrastructure and create a capital expenditure program to continue to bring high-quality service to our customers. As many industries have experienced, the expenses associated with bringing high-quality service to our customers have increased over the last five years despite ongoing cost control efforts.
